Booking is done online through our booking platform, Semble. You choose the appointment type, pick a time from the live calendar, and pay at the point of booking.
You will receive a confirmation email with a secure link to your video consultation. There is nothing to install — the consultation runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
Before your appointment you will be asked to complete a short medical history and verify your identity, both of which happen inside the platform. Doing this in advance means the full 20 minutes is spent on your actual problem rather than on admin.
Which appointment type to choose
If you are not sure, book a general online GP consultation. It is the same twenty minutes and the same fee, and the doctor will take it wherever it needs to go.
The named appointment types exist to help us prepare, not to restrict what can be discussed. Nobody will refuse to talk about something because you booked under a different heading.
How far ahead you can book
Slots are released on a rolling basis, and same-day appointments are usually available. We open at 6am and run to 10pm, seven days a week including bank holidays — the early and late slots exist specifically for people who cannot take time out of a working day.
If nothing suitable is showing
Email hello@cheshireclinics.com rather than giving up. Cancellations free up slots regularly and we can often fit something in that is not visible on the calendar.
Before you pay
If you are unsure whether we can help with your particular problem, ask first. We would rather tell you in advance that something needs a physical examination than take a fee and refund it.
And if the consultation turns out to be genuinely outside what can be done remotely, the fee is refunded in full.
