How the health information on this site is written, clinically reviewed, sourced, dated and corrected.

What this policy covers
Cheshire Clinics publishes information about conditions, symptoms, medicines, tests and how the service works. This policy explains how that content is produced, checked and kept up to date, so you can judge how far to trust it.
Who writes and who checks
• Health content is drafted from primary sources and then clinically reviewed by a GMC-registered GP before publication. The reviewing doctor and the review date are shown on the page. Dr Mohammad Zubair Khan, as lead clinician, is responsible for the accuracy of clinical content on this site.
• "Clinically reviewed by Dr Khan" means Dr Khan has read the page, checked it against current guidance and approved it. It does not mean Dr Khan wrote every word.
• Nothing is published under a doctor's name without that doctor's review.
Sources we use
We base clinical content on NICE guidance and Clinical Knowledge Summaries, NHS.uk, the British National Formulary, UK Health Security Agency guidance and peer-reviewed research, and we prefer UK sources so that advice reflects how care actually works here. Where evidence is uncertain or contested, the page says so.
Keeping content current
Every clinical page carries a last-reviewed date. Pages are re-reviewed at least every twelve months, and sooner when guidance changes, a medicine is withdrawn or a reader reports an error. Prices and comparisons carry the date they were last checked.
Information, not advice
Content on this site is general information. It cannot take account of your history, your medicines or your circumstances, and it is not a substitute for a consultation. Where a page says a symptom needs urgent care, please act on that rather than on anything else you read.
Independence
• We do not carry advertising and no content is sponsored.
• We name partner organisations only where they are genuinely part of the service you receive.
• Comparisons with a typical online GP service use publicly listed prices, checked on the date shown, and say plainly where another option is the better one.
• Prescription-only medicines are described for information and are never promoted.
Images
Photographs of people are stock or commissioned images used with permission; we do not use AI-generated images of doctors or patients, and no real patient is shown without written consent. Patient reviews never show a photograph of the patient.
Reviews
Patient reviews are published only where they can be verified against the platform they were left on and the patient has consented. They are shown in the patient's own words and are never edited, shortened or written by us.
Corrections
If you find an error, email hello@cheshireclinics.com with the page address. Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and material corrections are noted on the page.
