Cheshire Clinics is a fully remote private GP service led by Dr Mohammad Zubair Khan, MBChB MRCGP. Twenty-minute video and phone consultations, seven days a week, at one fair price, with honest advice about what an online GP can and cannot do for you.
Why Cheshire Clinics exists
After more than a decade in NHS general practice, Dr Khan kept seeing the same thing: ten-minute appointments in which the real problem was never raised, and patients who put off asking for help because the system felt closed. Cheshire Clinics was set up to fix the two things a single GP can fix. Give people twenty minutes, and be straight with them: about what can be done remotely, about when the free NHS route is the right one, and about price. The consultation fee is the only income. We do not dispense, deliver or profit from anything we prescribe.

The principles behind every consultation
Twenty minutes, always
Every appointment is twenty minutes, whatever it is for. Enough time to ask what else has been going on, check the medication list and reach a considered answer.
Honest about limits
A video call cannot examine you, and only an NHS GP can make an NHS referral. If your problem needs something we cannot provide, you are told at the start and refunded.
No conflict of interest
We do not dispense, deliver or profit from anything we prescribe. The consultation fee is identical whether you leave with a prescription, a referral or advice that you need neither.
NHS routes named first
Where a free NHS service, 111 or your own practice is the better route, every page and every consultation says so. We complement NHS care rather than replace it.
Your record, your consent
Nothing is shared with your NHS GP unless you ask us to, except where safeguarding or an emergency requires it. Data is held under UK GDPR, ICO registration ZB758982.
Plain English, every time
A written summary after every consultation, results explained rather than left as numbers, and consultations in English, Urdu, Punjabi or almost any language through an interpreter.
Regulation and registration
Cheshire Clinics is the trading name of Medhub LTD, company number 14487050, registered in England and Wales. Every consultation is with a doctor on the General Medical Council register; you can verify Dr Khan’s registration (GMC 7563469) on the GMC website at any time. Dr Khan is the registered manager, nominated individual, lead clinician and safeguarding lead for the service.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Registration means our service, governance and safety processes have been assessed against its fundamental standards. Data protection and prescribing
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ZB758982) and handle your information under UK GDPR. Prescriptions are issued electronically through SignatureRx to a pharmacy of your choice; we do not dispense medication ourselves. Blood tests are taken at Randox Health clinics and imaging is arranged through Vista Health.
Not an emergency service
We are open 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, and at no hour are we an emergency service. Chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe breathlessness, heavy bleeding or a mental-health crisis need 999 or A&E now. For urgent problems that are not emergencies, NHS 111 is free and open 24 hours.
