The terms on which Medhub LTD, trading as Cheshire Clinics, provides private GP services through this website. Please read them before booking.
Your attention is drawn in particular to the paragraphs marked "Note" and to section L, Limitation of liability.
By using the services provided through cheshireclinics.com you agree to these terms and conditions and to any future changes we publish here. "We", "us" and "our" mean Medhub LTD, trading as Cheshire Clinics. "User" means any person on whose behalf you make a booking.
Who we are. This website is owned and operated by Medhub LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14487050. Our registered office is 6A Ollershaw Lane, Marston, Northwich CW9 6ES. The registered office is a correspondence address only; Cheshire Clinics is a fully remote service and there is no clinic to visit.
Our service. Through cheshireclinics.com you can book private GP consultations by video or telephone with GMC-registered doctors, together with prescriptions, medical letters, referrals and test referrals arising from those consultations.
How to contact us. Telephone 0330 113 1874, or email hello@cheshireclinics.com. We confirm the key details of any service in writing, normally by email, before it is provided.
Consent to these terms. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them you must stop using the website.
Breach of these terms. If you or a User breach these terms we may suspend or end your access to the service and, where appropriate, take legal action.
Privacy. We use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice in order to provide the services you book.
Note: our services are not suitable for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent problems that are not emergencies, NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day.
What we offer. Cheshire Clinics provides online GP consultations with UK-registered doctors. During a consultation the doctor will assess you, discuss treatment options and may recommend an in-person examination, an NHS route or emergency care where that is the right course.
Note: Cheshire Clinics does not hold your NHS medical record. With your consent we may view your NHS Summary Care Record during a consultation. It is your responsibility to ensure the medical history and information you provide is accurate and up to date; the quality of the advice depends on it.
All doctors providing services through Cheshire Clinics are registered with the General Medical Council and hold a licence to practise.
Note: information published on this website is general information only. It is not personal medical advice and we accept no responsibility for how it is applied unless negligence on our part is proven.
Payment in full is required before a consultation takes place.
Note: we see patients of all ages. A child under 16 must be booked by, and consult with, a parent or someone with parental responsibility present for the whole appointment. Young people aged 16 and 17 may consult in their own right, and we encourage a parent to be involved. Where a child or adult needs hands-on examination, the doctor will say so and direct you to the appropriate in-person service; an unwell infant should always be seen in person the same day if the doctor advises it.
Note: if you book on behalf of someone else you are responsible for ensuring the information provided is accurate and that the person consents to the consultation.
When payment is received you will receive a confirmation of your appointment. At that point a contract is formed between you and Cheshire Clinics.
Note: you are responsible for the conditions needed for the consultation, including a working internet connection, a suitable device and a private space. If these are not in place we cannot guarantee the consultation can be completed and a refund will not be due.
Punctuality. Consultations start at the booked time. A grace period of 15 minutes applies; after that the appointment may be treated as missed without refund.
Video consultations use a secure link sent to you after booking. Telephone consultations are made to the number you provide.
Note: the doctor will verify your identity at the start of the consultation. Please have photo identification (passport or driving licence) available. If your identity cannot be verified the consultation will not proceed and no refund will be issued.
Consultations are available in English, Urdu and Punjabi. For other languages, including British Sign Language, we will arrange a professional interpreter at no extra charge; please tell us the language you need when booking, ideally one working day in advance.
Consultation fees are paid in full at the point of booking by credit or debit card. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Medical services provided by a registered medical practitioner are exempt from VAT.
Note: a consultation will not take place if payment has not been received in full, or if abusive or inappropriate behaviour occurs.
If we cancel. If the doctor cannot attend because of an emergency or circumstances outside our control we will tell you as soon as possible and you may choose a full refund or a new appointment.
If you cancel. Cancel up to two hours before the appointment for a full refund. Cancellations inside two hours are not normally refunded, but you may reschedule instead.
Rescheduling. You may move your appointment free of charge at any notice, including inside two hours, using the link in your confirmation or by calling us. Rescheduling is subject to doctor availability.
Non-attendance. If you do not attend and have not cancelled or rescheduled, the appointment is treated as missed and no refund is due.
Refunds. Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 14 days.
Membership purchased online has a 14-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel for a full refund, less the cost of any appointment attended in that time.
If you think a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill, contact us. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we will repeat or put right a service that was not carried out with reasonable care and skill; where a price was not agreed in advance it must be reasonable; and where no time was agreed the service must be carried out within a reasonable time. Independent advice is available from Citizens Advice.
Our team is available Monday to Sunday, 6am to 10pm UK time. Messages received outside these hours are answered the next working day.
Prescriptions are issued electronically through SignatureRx to a pharmacy of your choice, in line with NICE guidance and GMC remote-prescribing guidance. The pharmacy dispenses and charges for the medication; we do not dispense, deliver or profit from anything we prescribe.
A new consultation may be required to reissue a prescription, including where a medicine has expired, is out of stock or a change is requested.
Controlled drugs. We do not prescribe Schedule 2 or 3 controlled drugs. Schedule 4 and 5 controlled medicines are prescribed only with caution, are never initiated remotely, and may be refused. We reserve the right to decline any consultation or prescription we consider inappropriate.
The website is for personal, non-commercial use. You must not use it unlawfully or fraudulently, to harm, harass or defame others, to attempt to modify or reverse-engineer it, or to overload our systems, including by automated tools. We may restrict access to the website or change how services are delivered at any time.

We are responsible for losses you suffer as a result of our breach of contract or negligence. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for delays caused by events outside our control, or for losses that could have been avoided by following our instructions. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, in our services or in technology. If a change materially affects a service you have already paid for we will tell you and you may cancel for a refund.
If something has gone wrong please follow our Complaints Procedure first. Alternative dispute resolution is available through the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have to bring proceedings where you live in the UK.
We provide services without discrimination on the grounds of race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, pregnancy or any other protected characteristic. If you need an adjustment to use our service, tell us and we will make it where we reasonably can.
We may transfer our contract with you to another provider and will tell you in advance if we do. You may not transfer your contract to anyone else without our consent. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid the remainder continues to apply.
