Tell us. Email hello@cheshireclinics.com with what happened, and mark it as a complaint so it is handled formally rather than as general correspondence. You can also complain by phone on 0330 113 1874 if you would rather not put it in writing, and we will record it for you.
What happens next:
- We acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days
- You receive a full written response within 20 working days
- If it will take longer than that — which occasionally happens where something needs a proper look — we tell you why and agree a new date with you rather than letting it drift
Complaints are normally raised within 12 months of the event, or of you becoming aware of it. Someone can complain on your behalf with your written consent.
Complaining will not affect the care you receive, and you are welcome to keep using the service. We investigate properly, tell you what we found, say so if we got something wrong, and set out what we are changing as a result.
If you remain unhappy with our response, you can raise concerns about a doctor with the General Medical Council, or about the service with the Care Quality Commission. The CQC does not resolve individual complaints, but it does use what it is told to inform its regulation of providers.
